I'd say Thonny or VS Code are great for beginners. Thonny's super simple, VS Code is more powerful but still easy to pick up.
Dude, you gotta plan it first, then design the thing, code it up, test the heck out of it, release it to the world, and then keep fixing it and adding stuff as needed. It's like building with Legos, but way more complex!
